Industry Benchmarks, account security, and agency fixes

A mixed release: private benchmarking on your SEO dashboard, stronger protection for your connected accounts, clearer data-use consent, and a batch of agency and billing fixes.

New

  • Compare your performance with private Industry Benchmarks — Your SEO dashboard can now compare your Search Console and Analytics results against the 25th percentile, median, and 75th percentile for similar businesses. Participation is opt-in, other businesses' individual results are never shown, and every published metric is built from at least 10 distinct contributors. Eligible agency-managed clients can take part too.

Improved

  • Strategy Hub draws on richer competitor and social context — Agency-run analyses now fold in the selected client's competitor SEO context alongside the same social-intelligence signals direct accounts use. If one competitor-data source or an optional social source is unavailable, Strategy Hub keeps the remaining evidence instead of throwing away the whole analysis.
  • Stronger protection for your connected Google and Bing accounts — Authorization tokens for Google, Google Business Profile, and Bing are now encrypted at rest, Google Analytics access is requested with narrower read-only permissions, and disconnecting Google removes the cached and derived data tied to that connection.
  • Clearer consent for AI processing and cross-customer analytics — Consent and legal screens now spell out how your connected data is processed by the AI behind RankGood's insights. General business-intelligence aggregation no longer draws on Google connector data, and the separate Industry Benchmarks program only uses your data when you explicitly opt in — while the Google-powered features you rely on keep working as before.

Fixed

  • Agency calendars show real errors instead of an empty schedule — Calendar date filters are validated before we look anything up, and a failure to load scheduled content or blog posts now shows a clear error instead of a calendar that just looks empty.
  • Agency client schedules and reports stay in the right workspace — Client lists and scheduled posts are de-duplicated, incomplete invited clients are kept out of queries that need a linked user, and client lookups are scoped to the active agency. You can also delete an unclaimed client workspace, while accepted clients and their data stay protected.
  • Google Business Profile category data is checked before saving — Linking or syncing a location now rejects malformed additional-category data up front, instead of saving a value that could break a later read or update.
  • Plan changes fail safely when billing data is incomplete — Direct plan changes now validate the requested price and your subscription's primary item before attempting an upgrade or downgrade, returning a clear error rather than proceeding on partial billing data.
  • Scans, reports, and scheduled publishing are more resilient — AI Visibility, Content Studio, Local reports, opportunity alerts, and scheduled LinkedIn/blog publishing now handle missing or outdated saved records more safely, skipping or flagging bad records instead of crashing a wider workflow or producing misleading output.

Start agency work before a client accepts their invite

Agencies can now prepare client work the moment an invite goes out, and nothing is lost when the client joins.

New

  • Prepare client work while an invite is still pending — Inviting a client now creates a pending workspace right away, so your team can start building reports before the client accepts. When the invited person signs in with the matching email, that workspace is securely linked to their new account instead of creating a duplicate.

Improved

  • Pending client work carries over when the invite is claimed — Claiming an invite migrates compatible historical data into the linked client account, and pending client names and emails stay visible across your client and integration screens in the meantime.

Turn a completed audit into a client-ready proposal

Agencies can now turn an audit straight into a shareable proposal.

New

  • Build and share proposals from an audit — Turn a completed audit into a client-ready proposal: set reusable sales defaults, combine the proposal with the audit report, and share or export the finished document as a PDF. A proposals list keeps every saved proposal easy to reopen, share, or delete.

Improved

  • Previews make unsaved proposal changes obvious — An inline preview refreshes after each save and clearly flags when the form has changes that aren't reflected in the preview yet — including edits you make while a save is still in progress.

Fixed

  • Clearer proposal errors — Missing proposal routes now return proper errors, and the app no longer turns an HTML fallback page into a confusing "not valid JSON" message.
