Market-Wide AI Mentions Trend, competitor overlays, and Top Mentioned Brands

New

  • Market-Wide AI Mentions Trend chart — The AI Visibility dashboard now includes a chart showing whether your domain's AI mentions are rising or falling over time. Green bars show newly gained mentions, red bars show lost mentions, and a line traces the net change per period, with a badge summarizing the overall direction. Switch between 3, 6, and 12-month ranges and weekly or monthly grouping. This is market-wide data for your whole domain, independent of your tracked prompts, so it complements rather than replaces the scan-based mention trend.
  • Compare your AI mentions trend against competitors — Any saved competitor with a website now appears as a toggle chip above the chart. Select up to 5 and each gets its own colored dashed net-change line alongside yours, so you can see at a glance whether you're gaining or losing AI visibility relative to your rivals. The tooltip and legend show each competitor by name.
  • Top Mentioned Brands in LLM Search Analytics — The LLM Search Analytics section now has a Top Mentioned Brands card: enter your keywords and see which brands AI answers surface most, with mention counts and AI search volume, so you can instantly spot competitors dominating AI visibility for your topics.
  • Live CTA button preview in report branding settings — When agencies edit the shared-report call to action in Agency Settings → Report Branding, a live preview now shows the button exactly as prospects will see it, updating as you type. A badge explains which link the button will use — your custom link, an email to your agency contact address, your agency website, or the RankGood sign-up page — so there are no surprises on shared audit reports.

Improved

  • The AI mentions trend loads faster and doesn't re-bill on every refresh — Trend data is now cached for 24 hours. Reopening the page, switching back to a range or grouping you already viewed, or several people on the same domain viewing the same trend no longer triggers fresh paid data lookups — repeat views are instant and free, and data refreshes automatically once a day, which matches the weekly and monthly grouping of the chart.
  • LLM Search Analytics upgraded to the new Extended LLM Mentions data — Keyword analysis now returns mentions, AI search volume, and the top cited domains per keyword, shown as badges in the results table. The data provider retired its impressions, average position, ETV, and competition-level metrics, so those columns have been removed. The Competitive Comparison matrix works exactly as before. Note that Top Mentioned Brands defaults to ChatGPT, because that's currently the only platform the provider returns brand data for — you can still switch platforms explicitly.

Fixed

  • A shared audit report's call to action can no longer be broken or empty — The "Get the full plan" button on shared prospect reports now always leads somewhere valid. Previously, an agency with no CTA link configured produced an email link with no recipient — a dead button for prospects. The button now uses the agency's configured link, then the agency's contact email, then the agency's website, and finally RankGood sign-up — never an empty or broken link.
